California was fun, I took my family, my wife and daughter and my parents, we arrived at western hills country club in Chino California. about 9am in the morning, there were a couple of pros on the practice range, as I approached the driving range I felt very good, my swing was nice and straight and in control and very positive, as it was getting closer to 11am, our tee time, a man approached the tee, he was head of the Pepsi Tour, he explained some of the rules that was a little different out on the Course, the he started to call our names and where we live, after he called my name, it was my turn at the tee, my first hit was a nice, in Fairway middle right, it was about 160 yards to the green with the sand trap on the front right side, I pulled my 7 iron out of my bag, I hit a wonder full hit, went over the sand trap and on the green about 4ft away from the hole, I putter and pared it. as my family followed me on each hole I really don't remember seeing them being there, focused I guess. The course was pretty nice thou, fairway's were tight, green were a little slow (Very green) lot more greener than Salt Lake City golf courses (Dryer) and about 89 degree's in Cal which was nice. The other professional golfers that was with me were pretty nice, but serious golfers which most of them that's there job.
I did have a bad hole on the 18th green, Par 4, pond in front left which closed in with tree's then opened up on the fairway and doglegged to the right, I pulled out my driver and hit, the golf ball went in between the tree's (Opening) and started to go left, which there was an stream & driving range, in my case, i could not find my ball, which i took a +3 on that hole, after we were done, we handed our score card in and did pretty good not ever played that course before, I would love to play that course again, it was a beautiful course, it was my dad's first time at a pro tourney and watching me at a pro tour which i thought was pretty cool and special for me (My Dad is not much into sports as i am) I new my mom would watch me play anyways (She's a Mom) if i asked her, my wife and kids would watch me anyways cause they love me, but anyways, I'm thinking of doing the Utah Open and or The Provo Open cause there a little closer to my house (Cheaper, no hotels, etc), which i already started training for.
The Pepsi Tour is worth playing in.
